I think a lot of you people owe that guy an apology for flaming like you did. In fact, when I have more time I will be more than happy to call all the individuals who started it out.

I got the ota, but it failed. I think it might be because I have updated the radio. Tried both via ota notice and clockwork.

You can't take the OTA if you have CWM recovery.

I received the OTA notification but it failed (I presume since I have CWM installed). Now when I manually check updates it says there are none available.

Does anyone know if I will get another OTA notification (and so should flash stock recovery in anticipation) or if I've now missed the boat and will have to flash manually (and should thus keep CWM)?

People,

yoo can not do OTA update if you have changed radio or recovery! It won't work. If you ONLY rooted and changed nothing in the system partition or unlocked bootloader it's ok, but single change in the system will break OTA updates.

Cheers!

thanks, I just updated using the zip from the url you provided.
I just received back my phone from service, It had the motherboard replaced and the bootloader was already unlocked! So I just updated using fastboot boot cwm.img

is there a comprehensive changelog with stuff other than the CDMA changelog listed here? I know there might be improvements to USB host and NFC...

So for someone like me who unlocked the bootloader and rooted the simple way (without any other changes to the system)... this ZIP is ok?
I'm on the GSM 4.0.1 in Canada

If you just unlocked bootloader and rooted your device, without any changes too system, like deleting apps or changing system files, build.prop, UI, or recovery, you should be ok:) Try it;) It won't blow your phone up, or something:)

Where did you buy your phone? All Canadian phones are yakjuux so this update won't work unless you bought it from somewhere online and received a yakjuxw
