I didn't see this mentioned yet. The Gingerbread source code for the Galaxy S is available for download at: http://opensource.samsung.com/

ah!.. voodoo sound, patches, tweaks.. GB hopefully becomes usable!
Cause its not usable now? eh..
If the current GB isnt usable for you i really wonder what you do with your phone.
Oh yes.. Samsung is moving in the right direction. Guess interactions with the devs like supercurio and others have made the difference.
Thanks Supercurio and the entire Dev team at XDA!
Why theu are moving in the right direction? If im not wrong it's their obligation to release the kernel source code.
They didnt release the bootloader source code yet.

Yup, JVK was not stable enough for ME. Trying JVB Now. Probably I'll get a step-up to SGS-II next![]()
What would you prefer? A 2.3.3 kernel without source codes and comes with voodoo sound.. etc or a 2.3.3 kernel with source codes and also comes with voodoo sound? That JVK you used was an early leaked version. JVB is a final release. That has nothing to do with the availability of source code.
Hoping in a standard (3 pin-stereo) headphones call support tweaked kernel... as is the only thing that keeps me on froyo
