[UK] Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Beta Bug Thread

Hi guys just as the title says i have created a thread for anyone who has signed up to the new UK beta group recently posted by samsung on twitter.

I signed up around a hour ago and it can take up to 24hours and I'm using the UK BTU firmware.


As the Galaxy Care app is not on the Play store here is the link to the app on the galaxy store,

I'm sure it was for the s6 edge as well? are you on unlock firmware? and where did it says your was incompatible?

Unlocked flashed BTU CIO9

I can't find the galaxy care app in the playstore. I'll try finding an apk later.

These forums are so dead and samsung stopped giving out the monthly builds they were doing.

Finally something is moving again.

I'm going to find a workaround[emoji48]

But only if my data stays in tact. Backing up without root and titanium backup is such a pain[emoji29]

Do you think this is just unlocked s6's or network locked models? I'm on Vodafone and can't the care app. It says my model is not compatible

They'll need unlocked handsets as they are bypassing carrier stuff.

It's for unlocked models only, just flash the latest btu firmware do your research first you will still be able to use it on your network etc it just removes all the bloatware
