Delicious v3.0
* for the Official CyanogenMod 6.1.3 by Kali- *

Gingerlicious v2.0
* for the Official CyanogenMod 6.1.3 by Kali- *

Features

// APP-Pack from MattedBlues, which gives you a more unified blue/black look.
I removed a few which caused problems and instabilities with the current CM build available.

// Fold Window Transitions.
Pleasing in the eye! Also, you can impress your friends! :eek:

Information

This is basically a theme I've been working on for Desire, until I sold it. So I've decided to continue the effort as soon as I got my hands on Desire HD. Of course back then it was just a custom framework-res. I've decided to look around the forums for some nice features to add and create a flashable zip for the extra convenience. I was pleased with the result, so I thought I'd share it with the rest of you; some might enjoy it as much as I do.

This theme is in no way 100% my own work. As i've said I mostly put it all together. The App-Pack is taken from MattedBlues, as well as some of the notification icons. This theme might turn out different in the future, as I'll continue working on it (slowly, as there's not much spare time due to various obligations). The least you can expect is keeping it up to date with the current CM releases.

Anyway, I'd like to give major credits to the following people:

// APP-Pack & partial Framework-res
Jabbawalkee and Beatblaster. Your work is truly appreciated; major props (permissions granted)!

// Custom Window Transitions
MagnusRagnarok

Installation

I AM IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE IF YOUR PHONE EXPLODES DURING THE PROCESS, OR IT TRANSFORMS INTO AN UNKNOWN SPECIES AND HUNTS DOWN ALL YOUR BUNNIES (if you don't have any I guess you're safe).
Always make a nandroid backup before proceeding, just to be safe.

Choose one of the following (Right-click > Save As...) :

Extras (Right-click > Save As...) :
  • Delicious.xml [ You need this for Delicious ]
    Save it in /sdcard/CMTheme/
  • NEW! Delicious-v3-apps.zip [ Some themed applications ]
    Save it in your /sdcard/ and flash it using CWM
  • NEW! gingerlicious-v2-apps.zip [ Some themed applications ]
    Save it in your /sdcard/ and flash it using CWM
  • NEW! Gingerlicious.xml [ You need this for Gingerlicious ]
    Save it in /sdcard/CMTheme/
  • [ LauncherPro Dock ]

    DockGinger.png

    Save it anywhere in your SDCard and choose it on LauncherPro

1. Flash Delicious-v3-xxxxx.zip or gingerlicious-v2-xxxxx.zip using ClockworkMod.

Important note: If you're doing a fresh installation of CyanogenMod, do NOT flash the theme right afterwards. Reboot first, enter your pin and after the ROM is fully loaded you can reboot to recovery once again and flash the theme. If you do otherwise you might get bootloops.

2. Go to Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > User Interface > Tweaks Extras > Select a theme > Select "Delicious".

3. Reboot (optional).

Known Bugs

// The "pull notification" image gets distorted ...
... when you pull down the notification bar in landscape mode. Been investigating this for a while but it seems to be a common problem in custom themes.

Positive criticism appreciated. Enjoy!

The theme looks fantastic, though I too am still into Leedroid. Waiting for Cyanogen to mature a bit.

This will undoubtedly be the first theme I put on when Im running cyanogen though!

I am loving the look of it, but I am not too keen on the folding screens as you move though the menus. I assume there is no way to disable it?

I could pack another version with the default animations, but apparently I've burned my motherboard so it's gonna take a couple of days.

Ouch, how did you manage that? If you wouldn't mind packing a new one, I would be very grateful, it's a gorgeous theme I just like the default animations more. :)

Unfortunately electricity was a bit unstable last night and I don't really own a UPS. So I guess it was bound to happen at some point.

I'll try doing this for you in the morning using my laptop, otherwise definitely on tuesday. :)

Wow, i like so much the kind of blue that you use .... thanks so much for share your work.

Thanks for appreciating!

Really enjoying this slick theme, (although I changed the font) I like the really clean statusbar. Is there a way to disable the signal strength bars and the dbm at the same time, permanently?

I also noticed the bar across the bottom of the tabs doesn't quite reach the whole way, I assume because I increased the LCD density.

Would be nice to upload a few pictures that indicate the problem, but it's possible that it's caused by the lcd density - people have reported inconsistencies with their themes at times when they change the density.

Is that common in Greece?

Good news: cyanogen is now really being tested for DHD, so once we have a nice stable one, I'll definitely flash and have a go with your theme ;)

I guess it depends in the area, fortunately it's not that common. :)

If we eventually get an official CM port, i will have to check if the theme is safe to flash first, as there might be differences in the framework files.

It'd be awesome if it could be kept up to date, it's such a gorgeous theme.

I'll definately keep it updated, especially if even just a few of you are using it. I see kali- released CM tonight so I'll be porting it soon provided it'a stable release.

PS: I haven't forgotten you, Kalavere! I will do what you asked tomorrow, as it's been a hard day today.
