I customized the stock kernel from the latest firmware with the help from the tool by @tobias.waldvogel from this link:
  • Disabled dm-verity
  • Disabled RIC
  • TWRP 3.0.2
  • DRM emulation

Flash kernel like this:
Fastboot flash boot [MODEL].img

Example

Fastboot flash boot E6853.img
Make sure to navigate to the correct directory you have it downloaded so it can detect the IMG.

For root flash SuperSU in recovery. Download from here:

Download kernel from:
Edit1: @Ashray_Vk Thank You for helping me modifying one of the kernels.

Edit2: @atif_afzal has confirmed that battery gets better if the TA backup gets restored with this kernel. Check the first link on this post for further instructions.

Edit3: Thank you @YasuHamed for confirming the kernel works when using older kernel modules.

havent gotten the update also i cant find it online :(

Have you checked if your region received it through:

Xpericheck.com

Or:

Fwchecker.com

You can download the ftf with Flashtool that got Xperifirm included. It fixes everything automatically, the only thing you have to do is downloading it and afterwards flash it. Even if your region hasn't received you can give another region a go, but I wouldn't recommend it, because the mobile network is customized in each different firmware region

When I first flash mm I flashed the RU version seems to be working correct so I wonder if I should do the same

I'm really busy right now. You can try making it yourself with the first link I have posted in OP, or you can wait until I can make it, hopefully in 2 days.

So there is no need to unlock the bootloader?!
The moment you alter the kernel even the slightest bit from the OEM settings, the bootloader needs to be unlocked.

So my answer is that it won't work with locked bootloader.

One quesgion, bit of a noob question but...

When I unlock bootloader I lose the DRM keys.. How can I get them back or restore them? And second, what do I do if I flash this kernel with latest FW, and let's say there's a newer FW in some months.. Can I then update my FW from flaahtool without losing root or...??
