There is no "Generic World". People keep saying this but it doesn't exist. Generic firmware is only available for BROWN devices, which are developer devices.

All firmware is customized, but the Customized *country* versions are unbranded and only include country-specific bloatware (for example a newspaper app). Customized *provider+country* usually has a different boot animation and provider-specific apps.

Considering the build number is only one off what most of us are running this is most likely a very small fix for something network-specific in the UK. Which means you shouldn't really bother.

After playing with this firmware on my phone I couldn't find any changes

Will test it more tomorrow to see if there any improvement in radio signals.
