[Q] can 3G usb modems be connected to lg g pad?

dear friends.. am willing to buy this tablet soon.. i want to know if i can smoothly connect a 3g usb modem to this tab through an OTG cable to surf the net

?
and will it consume alot of battery ??

I think you are out of luck unless its a VERY custom rom and kernal. It has nothing to do with the device. However since 4.0.4 android has made it so apps can not inject drivers. Since they can not load drivers anymore, if your rom/kernal doesnt have the drivers, it wont run the dongle.

Honestly your better off just getting a puck or a small rooted cellphone you can tether to.
