Hi,

While we got used to see battery stats from last (nearly) full charge, with OneUI 2.0 the battery stats are taken from 00h00 of the day... for example if you use your phone from 00h00 to 01h00 then leave it charge overnight then you'll start your day with 100% battery with already 1h SOT counted !
The only way to figure out the real SOT is to sum the stats of each area after full charge ...

If this is intentional from samsung then it is in no way useful at all.

What's weirder is that I didn't find anyone complaining about it on internet or reporting it as a bug! Just like if I was the only one annoyed by such incomprehensible change...

+1 so bad stats now

old way was better. Samsung can keep 7 days history (what is actually very good idea) but reset stats when is battery charged up to 90%

That's how it should be implemented :good:

u are right , for me i didnt found a way or place to comment about it , now u open this thread and hope that can send to samsung

Let's hope a "real" beta member can report this as a bug and let's they don't answer "it's a feature not a bug' !!! :)

Don't have the new version yet on my Note 10+ but I agree that this is pretty dumb if it is actually implemented as you state. What use is looking at battery life over a 24 hour period that spans multiple charges?

It's mentioned in the German beta forum

They answered that one ui 2 may get a pie like implementation if it is widespread requested

If you click on the graphil on a day that you charged the phone it will allow you to view screen on time for different time frames on that day.

I agree it's dumb, Galaxy Labs' Battery Monitor adds some informations but I still prefer the old way :( Guess I'll stick with Gsam battery for now to satisfy my battery life curiosities

Yea I freaking hate this! It's like Samsung did this on purpose to keep people from knowing the actual screen on time u know. Anyways, I just installed Accu Battery and it gives me the SOT now from a full charge.

Sincerely, what's the use of such battery stats ?

Look how many times I charged the phone to 100% but the SOT never got reset which results in a global 5h13 !

It even counts the screen usage while using the phone plugged and fully charged

I thought you were using some app for that.

No I am not rooted yet and not really interested for the first time in my android life. Otherwise I would have installed BBS a long time ago ;)

Has anyone figured out how to get better battery stats on A10 for things like battery consumed by Screen and Android System?

I'm late to the party, but yea pretty crappy way of adding in the stats. This is in fact a copy from iPhones, where they still give a screen usage time and that's what Samsung primarily missed out on. Only if they could just add a total screen usage time since charge along with usage times based on clock hours, that should resolve the issue. I'm currently using Gsam Battery Monitor Pro to see total screen usage but then this doesn't capture much but total screen usage (doesn't seem to be capturing other app stats).

    Thanks!

I got the issue here too. I haven't found a working battery stat app for the note 10 even with all permissions granted. So I'm stuck with Galaxy Labs' battery tracker which can at least give some stats since the last charge.
