Gone from ICS to official JW4 2.3.6 and now everything is working as it should, streams lock on pretty quick and generally hardly ever stutter (1500KB stream on 10meg Virgin connection was flawless).
Definitely a great addition to the Android family.

Audio fine but black screen for me too :(
I used to get black screen with crunchyroll app but an update fixed it. Wonder if they're having the same issue too... I base this on nothing though lol :)

I've Fired off an Email to the address they give for Bug Reports to let them know about the ICS issue & to see if they have a planned Fix.
I've also linked them to this thread Inviting them to join, Hope I hear something from them.

What is the estimated data download during viewing a avarage channel [1000k] for one hour?

Doesnt start on my Samsung Galaxy Mini.

It buffers but than the app just Force Closes.

Is there any known solution to this problem ? If yes, than I would really like to hear.

I am a huge SopCast user, and I really want it on my phone.

Thank you. !

What about introducing your own links? I think It would be a good idea, because I get links from other site, but I cant use it in sop cast android :)

oh sorry, I didn't look for it thanks you so much. However, if you click directly from any website in a link, it says "no application for this function ". It's just a suggestion, to add a directly compatibility, so we won't have to copy link, go to the app, and then introduce it

    SopCast have updated the Beta to version 0.8.6 which now includes ICS support and fix for Black Screen.

    Now, you can directly open a sopcast link within browser, no need to copy/paste :)

    after looking a bit deeper in to the app, there is a url entry bar, its under menu - local media - menu -url

    This also allows you just to enter the Sopcast channel number also.
