Faster internet browsing
Support .mkv
Hardware support for 720p h.264 4.1hp
60 frame xvid works
Little bit better LG home
Little bit faster for everything.

It's awesome, but sadly... its not gingerbread.....

I wonder how lg made 2x to support 720p hp, which is the one that tegra 2 dose not support
Sent from my LG-SU660 using XDA App

If this is true and everything works out good I think we'll be able to have us a nice new MCR from Paul O'Brien over at MoDaCo in a couple of hours (;-)) or so.

This´s really good, hope we don´t have too much time in see it for our Europeans optimus.

But i think the real question is where´s the Gingerbread upgrade?,Samsung will finish the update to gingerbread at the end of this month for all of his devices.

I´m really afraid that maybe with this fix LG is trying to make more sweet the anuncement of a new delay for the upgrade to Gingerbread.

Regards

Sounds REALLY Great! With this support imho it's the best phone on the market :D

How about an official changelog? Could you provide any?

according to me, LG must stop to optimize froyo build and start to optimize gingerbread build...LG can release gingerbread build with some bugs, it's important to have many updates and gradually optimize builld and firmware...i remember that reboot/freeze issues will be fixed with android gingerbread and new firmware based on it, so i don't understand how it's possible to fix these issues with new update based on froyo...finally, mkv support and other features of this update are great, but i prefer to have better management of battery/ram/cpu and latest android version, and then other cool features like mkv support,etc...

I'd rather wait longer for Gingerbread with a rock-solid Froyo build. Presumably by finding the root cause of the issues will benefit the Gingerbread ROM anyway, but that's just me :).

And you just spoke Spanish, which is a bit different than Italian :p hahahaha
else it would have been "Il tipo è Italiano, non francese" :p

Anyways I'm really glad for this update and I wish to have the changelog asap!

E 'stato un piccolo malinteso jejejejejeje
Mi è sempre sembrato bandiere francesi e italiani molto simili.
Questo, e non se ne accorga :)

Saluti amico e scusa per la confusione:p

that is huge if true. cannot wait for the mcr by Paul based on it. I guess LG woke up after some of the bad press lately!
