Hello everybody,

here you can find some Mods for the 4.2.2 Leak.. They are all very basic and keep the stock look! If you wanna have cool features like transparency, diffrent colors and more take a look at my Dream-Themed 4.2.2 Leak.

If you want to improve the stock design with some additional Mods you're right here!

What's available:
  • 1% Battery Mod
  • 1% Battery Mod with Center Clock
  • Choose between a black, a transparent or a black/transparent StatusBar which is transparent on Home-and Lockscreen while black in other apps
(Default: Black in apps, semi-transparent on home and lockscreen)
  • Make your own PullDown Background. Instructions found below
  • On request: StatusBar images(eg brushed metal, colors etc)

If you find any battery icon you like just post them and I'll make it compatible(if they aren't compatible yet.. Incompatible are eg JKay or AOKP Battery Icons)

Change your Pull-Down Background:
  • Download the Background_Changer.zip from #2
  • pick your desired image(resoulution: 1280x720) and rename it to notification_panel_bg.9.png
  • open the zip and navigate to: /vrtheme/system/app/SystemUi.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi and replace your image with the one found there(it's a simple black image. So if you want to revert back to stock just flash the not-modifed zip)
  • copy to your phone, flash it and enjoy ;)

Installation Notes:
Please not that the Add-Ons are NOT Stand-alone packages!! They require one of the Main-Mods to work!!

If you flash one of the Add-Ons without flashing the Main-Mod you'll loose your Status-bar/it FCs all the time!

Currently I have a weird issue with the vrthemes.. It doesn't apply the 1% Battery files in the standalone zips here(while it works in the Aroma). Please flash that battery fix file the very first time you use my mod(it contains the files in an apk file instead of a vrtheme). Once that fix is flashed(only nessecary the very first time you install the mod, or after a rom update) you can change between the mods and add-ons withot using that fix! ;)

So install it like that:
-flash the battery fix(only requierd the first time)
-flash one of the Main-Mods
-flash desired Add-Ons
-finsihed

Once the Main-Mod is installed you can switch between the Add-ons(eg switch from black to transparent Statusbar) without flashing the Main-Mod before ;)

This takes lots of time! If you like this MOD please press thanks and consider a small donation.. With some Energy-Drinks I even work faster :p

Credtis:
  • Wanam for the hacked Apk Manger
  • Rockystrike(german forum) for the Center clock! This saved me lots of time!!
  • barikke74 for his workaround to compile the SystemUi.apk(->much better than deleting the files which caused the errors!)

Okay :) Hoffentlich gefällt es dir ;)

Haha nice one ^^

1%-battery-mod doesn't work for me. I installed it first (with center clock), than transparent status bar. The status bar is transparent, the clock is centered but there's no battery icon anymore :(
I used Philz recovery;)

It works for me too.. I have no idea what's wrong on your phone :/ Maybe you're using any additional mods?(eg that nottach xposed module)
@sachs: How did you get that number to your gmail/play store folder? :D

And what does this say? Here it didn't work - so what!?

You don't have to get that unfriendly!! He was only showing it works for him.. As it's the same file for everybody it'll work for everyone who doesn't use any additional mods!!

I didn't want to appear unfriendly - sorry fort that!

But as you see in my attached screenshot, there's no icon and I installed sotmax rom clean and absolutely NO OTHER mods!

I reinstalled ROM, booted: normal battery icon is there (or - if selected - with percentage shown).

Then recovery, installed only your 1%-battery-mod, rebooted: no icon anymore. So what can one do wrong going this way? I don't understand.

Strange.. I'm using exact the same setup and it works fine for me...No idea whats wrong there..

Edit:// I just tried it again and it still works.. Sorry.. Maybe you can try wiping caches after flashing.. But usually it doesn't matter if you do it or not..

Ah thanks ;)

Today morning I tried the other mods from you (remember: I used wrong recovery). May there be some 'dead files' lying around on my phone? Is there a folder that I should clean up?

I must confess that I didn't do a full wipe since that - just reinstalling (not restoring from backup). But I NEVER use other mods until today, when I saw your mods for the leaked 4.2.2 roms.

It does not work for me, too. I am using sotmax v20 b5.

Usually not.. I'm using my theme with transparency and just flashed this one here to test if everything's working.. And you see it's working for me(and others)..

The strange is.. If the statusbar bg applies the battery should apply too..

But maybe it's worth a try:
-Delete the vrtheme folder on your sdcard
-check if there are some "lost" apk files(only SystemUi.apk, delete no other apk file!!) or vrtheme folders / files in /data or /system. If there are some of them delete them..
I remember that I accidentally aborted the installation of a vrtheme(first version of my 4.2 themes.. They took longer than in 4.1 to install so I killed the installation :D sometimes I'm to impatient ) those files left caused a failed installation of any other vrtheme..
Maybe that's the case here too(not an aborted but failed installation) and the battery pngs are just laying there but never getting applied..

Edit://for me it works flawlessly on sotmax latest build.. What additional mods did you choose in the aroma?

I first searched for any of the *.PNG files, which are in your mod (stat_sys*.png) but I couldn't find any of them on the hole phone! I think that's not correct, because thesefiles contain the single battery-states (1% steps).
So what do you guess?

    UP :good:

    I'm hoping a quick update ( New Leak FW XXUFME7 )

Did you have a close look at the new firmware? I just deodexed it and modded the settings and some framework stuff but there are no bug changes and non which are relevant to the theme. So it should work with the new firmware ;)
After I'm done with some modding and tweaking of the leak I'll report back :)
