wow too much benchmark scores...appreciate it if others post experiences of daily use (and probably issues or bugs if there are any)...
btw...glad to see siyah here...cheers gm!
I've been using this kernel since version .92b, consistently getting 6hrs screen on time. on 1.0.1 I'm at 66% wifi/gps-on 3 mail accounts syncing, autobrightness. Currently 2:33 mins screen on, 2 hours of streaming music, light web browsing, 40+ texts. If I reach over 7 hours screen on I'll post screenies. I have undervolted -25 in extweaks, but otherwise stock kernel settings.
I'm amazed, best performance I've ever experienced on Android, ever.
Guys this kernel works pretty well but I wonder about something.
When I try to change the chargning voltages I get errors about files not found. Has anybody tried this and getting the same errors?
nope, haven't experienced that but it's been mentioned more than once that extweaks still hasn't been optimized for SGS3. What are you using to change the values extweaks or FH settings?
I've had extweaks sit on a blank screen when opening but killing it then opening again has usually fixed that. I've been flash happy so I've had to remember to update the binary in SU which could cause a few hiccups.
Hi and thanks for your answer.
I'm using EXTweaks to change the voltages and after some tries I still get the files not found errors when I touch "Apply". I updated SU with no result. I will try a bit more and post back.
EDIT: Well do get a permission denied error when I change the voltage and touch on "Apply" but the app does have root access... Any ideas why is that happening?
Have you updated to 1.0.1? What are you trying to change the voltage settings to? If you don't have root for extweaks uninstall/install or wipe it's data and try again.
Yes I'm on 1.0.1. I tried to reinstall and clean its data but the problem remains. I'm using different values every time. I attached a screenshot with the error so you can take a look.

I'm on this kernel v1.0.1, see the nice score in Quadrant - 7048!

I used "//" instead of "#" (C comment in bash script)
I fixed that mistake. although you get that error messages the settings should be working.
you can also use currentwidget (latest version supports s3 but only reads charging current) to see if it works.
I've just set usb mode to 600 and read 599.
and I am now compiling 1.0.2
