Are the dock settings still there under settings/accessory? I'll be staying on ICS for the moment I guess. Dock support is more important to me than the new jb features.

Same here. It was working till XXDHL8 Jelly Bean Rom. It's now not working on CM10 aswell.
Is there any possability 2 swap the files witch are working with the other ones?

As of at least v25 of omega rom I'm also unable to get my phone to recognise the dock. Extremely disappointing.
I'll try to flash v13.1 ics tomorrow and check if it works and report back.

Ive got the same problem as you boys. On stock ICS my phone is charging and Car Home Dock v3 boots up straight away. But on stock JB my S3 is not charging and Car Home Dock v3 don't boots up. I think is the JB software problem or Samsung people want push us to their dedicated holder for S3 which is not that good as infuse 4G.
Here's how I managed to use the dock with jelly bean. The phone will not recognise the dock (no car mode). But I'm able to use it as charger.
First : Removing the cover at the rear of the dock (not easy ...).
To use as charger : I used a cutter to cut the connection as bellow (Cut the vertical line in the red circle).
An other way is to remove R1 resistor on the other side of the board. (The resistors are contact between a USB PIN and mass. I think that's what allows to recognize that this is a car dock).
With the first operation, the charger will only be recognized as USB charger and charge will be longer. To correct this, you must make a connection between the two connectors marked with a red arrow.
Then, the dock will be recognized as AC charger (fast charge).
I have not tried the audio output. But I think that it should not work.

Seriously? I'm not sure how this hasn't remotely baffled Samsung engineers, but it makes me miss my Droid X dock that much more
I flashed back to omega v13.1 and it works fine in the car dock.
I asked around in the omega thread and it seems that it's not supported in the leaked version of the Jellybean rom that is being used.
Perhaps when the official rom update come out we should have dock support. Here's hoping anyway

Could this be fixed by a different kernel? Don't we need to make Samsung aware as surely this should be working with the official release? This dock looks ideal but I need it to work with the official release.
You can contact the Samsung Support on their Website. I have done so. When more people do it they might pay higher attention.
Different Kernels are not fixing the Problem. Tried Siyah Kernel and no change. Also the CM10 Kernel.

I'm running the ROM in my signature on my SIII, are you guys just talking about CM10 and such having issues? Not official leaks, but modified AOSP ROMs? Because my official leak works just fine, actually saves me a step when going from ICS to JB - when I connect the phone on the Infuse dock, it unlocks the screen for me and opens my Google Music (have it set to do that from A2DP Volume, I need this to connect to Bluetooth immediately when car docked), with ICS I had to swipe the screen to unlock it first before I could access Google Music, which was opening up in the background....
If you want me to take a video as proof that mine works just fine, I can do that, but let me know if I don't need to because you're talking about non-official stuff here

I'm talking about the international Version of the S3 - i9300.
It dosen't matter, if I installo JB Stock (higher than XXDlH8) or CM10.
Samsung has changed something in the latest sources and I think CM10 is using these sources aswell. Want 2 try an older CM10 aswell and will report.

I am running the official polish JB release and can't get the dock to work, as stated in my post a while ago.

27So, I dusted off my Infuse 4G Car Dock and voila! The S3 fits! Height is perfect but the S3 is a tad narrower than the Infuse so some very minor side to side alignment prior to sliding the connector in is required. Other than that it fits like it was made for it! Enjoy! :laugh:

Absolutely no wiggle at all. The phone kind of clicks into place in the dock, even without the USB plugged in.
It does take two hands to put it in and remove it. It's that tight. But not TOO tight.
I haven't had any issues with the USB plug. Seems to be about perfectly aligned to me? But then I do have a body wrap on my phone.
No case will work on this though. It's too tight for that. Not that I've tried, but I really doubt any case will fit.
