Ok..this doesn't look good at all. I think that I will cancel my pre-order.
Holy ****! I felt the aluminium was too soft but was scared to trh bending it myself. Seems like there is no quality control at all over at Huawei...
Uh, but that's a property of aluminum. Why are people surprised by this? Isn't the iPhone 6 easy bend as well? Aluminum is soft, there's nothing surprising about it.
Are you kidding me now? Go try to bend a new iphone. Let me know when you succeed.
I'm not canceling my order either. I put screen protectors and cases on all my phones. Boy that is disappointing.
That's interesting, different from the other video I watched. I still believe aluminum is an inferior material compared to good quality plastic for phones.
There are different levels of aluminium strength. Obviously they went the cheap route here and picked such soft aluminium as it can be clearly seen in the video.
Don't know about you ,but I treat my phones like a precious piece of China anyway.I have just come from a one M7 after 2 years where it never had a case or a SP on it,always kept in a leather pouch when not in use and it is still in immaculate condition.I'm not going to burn it with a lighter,scratch it with s pick{if I did I'd get a new screen put in anyway ) and its front pocket with nothing else in there.....

If you look at his thumbs, you can see he was applying a lot of force. No reviewer has mentioned their phones accidentally bending, so I wouldn't worry too much yet.

If you do something to a object that it was never designed to handle, bad things happen. Go run your car into a concrete barrier at 50mph and let me know how well it holds up, better sell it now because it didn't drive home afterwards. Get real, devices are designed to be used under normal circumstances if you put them in situations that they should never be in, they break. It's a reasonable expectation that you will not treat a $500 phone like a $2 trinket, if your dumb enough to sit on it or TRY to bend it, then you deserve to break it and be out of a phone.
