Hey,

I know people always say never use task killers e.g. advanced task killer.

But does this include the Official HTC Task Manager? or the ICS task killer?

Thanks,
Louis

The Task killer that is part of Sense only allows you to kill active apps, most taskillers kill all programs....cached or inactive to free up memory. Therefore, the HTC taskiller is not really the same as Taskiller or any other app like it.

None! Advanced task manager is better.
Has more options/features and better UI.

+1 on this one, you will be able to tweak the native task manager using that software and that will enable more performance without the added issues that ordinary task killers do.
