[How To][zips]Single/multi CSC

Here are some CSC zips to flash from custom recovery. (I use TWRP)
Seems the single CSC zip is a winner.
Please do not pm me about the zips, ask here in the thread, keeps the thread alive

Heres a little how to:

What you need
Android Kitchen by dsixa Link
DiskInternals Linux Reader Link

*In Android Kitchen by dsixda
-Advanced option
-Option 18
-Option 3

-Follow instructions
-Now go to this guide.

I have uploaded a template that you can use. if you like, or copy to your ROM.
Feel free to upload CSC zips that you make

Or get a pre made.

CSC.Template.PFS.zip has:

updater-script Link pastebin
A modded feature.xml unlocks some small stuff Link pastebin
Apks that comes with cache.img (VideoHub.apk,SSuggest.apk,MusicHub_30.apk,Flipboard.apk)
Remove apks before you flash if you dont use them.

WARNING CHANGING CSC WILL DO A FACTORY RESET!
You now have 3 Options

1. Use this app that hotsync100 made for us. See this thread <-------- Click me

2. Manually read below.
3. Or use this app that bassie1995 made Link <--------

So I found out how to change the CSC on LLA fw.
Here you can find CSC zips to flash in custom recovery Link <-- Click
What you need:
*Some knowlege about adb or Terminal Emulator
*adb
*rooted phone
*Also you need backups, if using stock recovery you will wipe all so save your backups on PC

How to:
1. Open a terminal on PC (or use Terminal Emulator app from play store)
2. Type : adb shell (skip no.3 if you use Terminal Emulator on phone)
3. su
4. am start -a android.intent.action.MAIN -n com.android.Preconfig/com.android.Preconfig.Preconfig

5. Choose your CSC, will take 3sec for the phone to reboot
6. Restore your backups
7. Optionally un-root.

As you can see I did not put so much time in this OP, if anything is unclear pls google and search XDA before asking

maybe just worth adding in there, or affirming that CSC INSTALL will cause a full factory reset of the phone. (i know you already mentioned backing up, but still people might not get it)

Check if you have it in your rom, if not you need this cache.img from this fw

CWM 6.0.1.2 refuses to flash this, it says the signature failed, but once you change it and try again, no dice

No not really, but many seems to want their regions CSC, personally IDK, for a long time I did not have a CSC

I just put this out so that the ones who want their CSC can

...Yeah, but you flash in Odin, in Download Mode, it pushes the files to the recovery, which is CWM in my case.

I tried using a stock recovery, and that works, and flashes fine, but I've just changed the CSC using the instructions above and I'm still on XOR.

I'm trying to change CSC to get HD-Voice.

Dont know what you did wrong, I tried 4 times changing CSC and it works.

EDIT: did u extract the zip from cache.img? I tried that and it dont work.

I flashed the .tar from your stash ("CSC.XXELLA.BTU.CPW.DBT.ITV.KOR.XEF.XEO.tar") in Odin.

I'm on Wanam's deodexed, though, not entirely stock.
