Alright, so over the past several months Microsoft decided to change it's exchange servers' protocols, messing up a bunch of people up who had E-mails from Hotmail and Live synced to their Android devices running Android 2.2, 2.3.4, 2.3.5, 2.3.6, or 4.0.3

This guide is based SOLELY from experience, and does not really have any technical reasoning behind it - IT JUST WORKS.

The usual disclaimer follows:
If for whatever reason following my guide deletes all your e-mails, releases all your e-mails to the safari, or turns your device into a nice toaster, I CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

This guide should also work for devices running the following Android versions:
Android: 2.2, 2.3.4, 2.3.5, 2.3.6
As well for other mobile operating systems as detailed in this list in the Microsoft Support Board

INSTRUCTIONS
ON A COMPUTER WEB BROWSER
Login to your hotmail/live/outlook account via hotmail.com or outlook.com or whatever you normally use.
After you are greeted by your inbox, take a look at the URL Bar and note the letters and number that precede mail.live.com (see attached image) NOTE: WE ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN THE LETTERS - COPY THAT DOWN OR REMEMBER IT!

Now, on your Transformer
1. Go to Settings --> Personal --> Accounts & Sync
2. "Add Account", Select "Corporate" when prompted with a choice of "Asus sync", "Corporate", "E-Mail", "Google"
3. Enter your e-mail address and your password and hit next
3a. (you may cancel "retrieving account information" if prompted to)
4. Under Domain\Username, Enter your EMAIL ADDRESS IN FULL (ie: test@hotmail.com, or abcde@live.com)
5. Enter your password
6. Under server, enter the following:
xxx-m.hotmail.com (with the xxx being the 3 letters you took from the web browser URL earlier) IT IS m.hotmail.com REGARDLESS OF @hotmail.com, @live.com, @outlook.com
Example: In my case it will be bay-m.hotmail.com, even though it's a @live.com email address

7. Tap Next, and give it about 10 seconds and it'll prompt you to make some basic settings regarding various items...

Hope it helps...

Fix for Android 4.3+ @live.com Email problem

more on outlook: if you have outlook web access, click "about" and then it should give you a hard address for the exchange server. my university email is like ch1prd0710.outlook.com

Here is the link to 2 apk files one is the actual 4.4 Email app the other is the matching apk file for exchange services. In combinatiopn these two files will absolutely 100% work with Android 4.3+. I took a bit of searching to find a clear freaking answer but this is the golden ticket right here if you use a Live, hotmail Email address. After installed add your #######@Live.com email address under the IMAP Email option. It took a few the first time but ill be damned if it didnt finally work. Been a member here for quite some time and well I hope my first post helps someone out.

I cant post a link so add a www in front of the address below to get the SOLUTION!
