OK little bit serious and offtopic - why can't you decide which one, when the only advantage the Nexus has is NFC (and ICS for now)?! But the Note will be updated to ICS for sure. One way or another. So remains the NFC only! And here we go with disadvantages:
- no card slot vs 64GB+16(32)GB
- 5MP vs 8MP
- 1,3MP vs 2MP front
- 1,4GHz vs 1,2GHz
- no stylus

Place your thoughts here:

I will answer you over there and everything remains on-topic

Mine got scratched at the center after 4 days of perfect use. I was really Really REEAALLY careful. For me its not gorilla or anything. You better watch out and dont trust in its strength.

PS. But I confirm: its pretty resistent to fingerprints ;)

The answer is *NO*.

Galaxy Note and Galaxy Nexus does not have Gorilla Glass. Full list above.

DISCLAIMER: Next statement is not my own research, just copied from another post.

Gorilla Glass was trademarked in 2008 for Corning's alkali aluminosilicate glass, their patent for such glass ran out some 20 years ago, anyone can make as much alkali aluminosilicate glass as they want without having to pay Corning for a name, Apple uses alkali aluminosilicate glass in the iPhone not Gorilla Glass. Using a non-name version isn't what makes them fail drop tests, since alkali aluminosilicate glass isn't shatterproof by whatever you call it but due to the design of the phone itself, alkali aluminosilicate glass is just more scratch resistant and a bit more bendable.

Also note that Corning has collaboration with Samsung for manufacturing of glass:

Good advice I'll probably invest in a screen protector anyway then. However I for one would have been satisfied if samsung officially confirmed it's gorilla glass instead of third party sources. Right now I still don't know who to believe.

I ve just mailed corning asking the same question. Will update once I get a reply !
