This was not my found method!!! All credit goes to owl74 and the original thread is here donate to him if you want and it works : http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2014982

Just dial the following keys *#197328640#Main Menu > [1] UMTS > [1] Debug Screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] Network Lock > Options [3]Perso SHA256 OFF > (after choosing this option, wait about 30 seconds, then go back one step by pressing the Menu button then select Back, now you are in [6] Network Lock then choose [4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ ..... wait for a minute then reboot your phone... enjoy!!! There is no confirmation on the phone that the unlock was successfull.... just reboot your phone....To test, just insert a sim card from a different carrier/provider. If the new sim card works then your phone is now unlocked.

I have got to option 6 on my girlfriends s3mini but her phone is unlocked from factory. Could someone give it a try and let me no if it works please.

NOTE: make sure you wait the full 30seconds and then the minute at the end.

P.s i have no blame if this messes up your phone or anything else blah blah usual disclaimer stuff

REMEMBER THIS IS OWL74'S METHOD NOT MINE

On my phone it doesnt work. In special menu [1] Debug Screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] Network Lock there is nothing, not even an option to select.. Yet my phone is still locked.

Hi,
I have the following program: I first go as described to:
*#197328640#Main Menu > [1] Debug Screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] Network Lock > Options. Then it only says "Not active" and there is nothing else I can do... Please help! :)
PS: I have just rerooted my phone, is this actually necessary? Thanks!

I dont think this method is working. I just thought because the hidden menu was there it would of..ill wait for a few more people to test it and if they say it doesnt work ill close the thread

Your phone should be running JB or it won't work.

The phone runs Jelly bean anyways. I think we should be specific and list the build numbers of the people who could unlock and who couldn't.
    Might help :)
