Ok looks like i found a flaw. Might just be my internet but it can't pick up Wifi everything else seems to be ok.
It searches for an ip address for ages, authenticates then saves but then searches for an address again.

I had that issue too. Don't worry, it's totally fixable to some extent.
Essentially, just go into the Wi-Fi Settings and (where you enter a network key), tick the Advanced Options box and find the menu (it'll say DHCP by default) that allows you to switch between a static or dynamic IP address. Select 'Static'.
Then enter the IP address you want to assign your device. In my case, it's on a 192.168.0.x network. This may change depending on what router you own. If you want to have a general idea, you can check by (on Windows) pressing the Windows Key + R and typing "Cmd". In the Command Prompt, typing "ipconfig /all". This will give you any necessary information you need.
Enter an IP address on your phone that doesn't conflict with anything on your current network. And add the IP address of your router (gateway).
Add the appropriate DNS servers (it's all in "ipconfig /all")
This should get you on to the WiFi network. I know it sure as hell worked for me!
Just so you know, the Network Prefix length by default will be /24. This is equivalent to the subnet mask 255.255.255.0.
By the looks of things, it looks like this software is having trouble recognising DHCP. Fun times.
Otherwise, it works pretty damn well.
I'm gonna go have a look around. See if I can fix DHCP on my handset. If I can, I'll totally post it

. There's a few Wi-Fi networks I use fairly often, and I really don't want to have to bother with this crap every single time. I'm sure nobody else enjoys assigning static IP addresses to phones either.
