Froyo rollout started?

Hi, a script from http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=825351

Just confirmed that XEU and NEE phone have froyo available to download.
Could someone with such phones verify this?

i just plugged mine into Kies
now im on 2.2 FROYO took less than 10 minutes

I have a UK O2 SGS and have no update yet.

Do I need to update to the latest Kies to get the update?

What are the Reg keys I need to change to get the XEU version??

yes i updated kies
and then hit upgrade firmware and the version number is I9000XXJPP Kernal Number is 2.6.32.9
Build Number FROYO.XXJPO

You can take a look in here, although this is for another version, back in middle of October (the one that has been pulled back by S), yet the procedure should be analogical.

Same here. On Official JM1 with T-Mobile. Downloading now. Woohoo!

XEE in Finland, firmware upgrade from JP6 to JPA is available in Kies. Screenshot attached.

I am in the uk..and the upgrade from 2.1 to 2.2 has started mine is now 2.2 on a unlocked i9000

I have no idea if it's available in old versions of Kies as before I tried firmware upgrade Kies offered an update to the latest version which seems to be 1.5.3.10103_100.

No Update to Froyo in Germany right now. I have a unlocked SGS but still on JM1. Waiting if anything changes this day but i dont think thats gonna happen. But I hope that the update will be there in the next few days.

Yeah, I checked for firmware update first thing - it told me the phone couldn't be upgraded. Then Kies decided there was a new version of Kies to install, and after that the JPO/JPP/JPO upgrade is available for the phone.

UK unbranded/unlocked 16GB version.

For Branded network phones, if you still have the previous version of Kies, you can change the LocalVer of Kies in the registry to make it think it's the latest version. Then change the product code etc to make it think you have a unbranded phone and the update will appear

Upgraded Kies and downloaded upgrade binary files - and then ---- phone disconnected. Asked me to go into recovery mode which I couldn't. Phone still works though!!!!!
Uninstalled Kies and went through it all again with the same result.
Finland by the way.
