I rooted to BAMF Sense 3.0 RC4 with radio MR2. Now when I try to sync/refresh my Google Calendar, I get the following error message:

"Sorry! The application Google Services Framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

I've done some searching and googling. It sounds like I might have to reinstall Google Talk. After some research, I found that the following files need to be replaced:

/app/gtalkservice.apk
/framework/com.google.android.gtalkservice.jar
/framework/com.google.android.gtalkservice.odex

Does anyone now if this is all that I need to do? Any advice on how to properly reinstall Google Talk? Are these the only files? How can I find them? (from a reliable source)

I've found other threads on this issue, but none of them have a clear outline of what is causing the error or a clear solution to the problem.

The error message also comes up upon reboot, and sometimes just at random.

Thanks!

Before you go through all that, have you tried clearing the app data for Talk?
Settings->Applications->Manage Applications->All->Talk->Clear Data

Not sure about Bamf, but CM7 doesn't have any of those particular files. Not sure if Bamf uses something different to integrate with sense or what but I'm guessing those filenames are from an old source. For instance, I haven't seen gtalkservice.apk in a while. It's just talk.apk now. Maybe I'm mistaken for other custom builds that make tweaks to get stuff working correctly though.

I had the same issue. You need to clear "Calendar Storage", not Talk.
