Have been using One with Sense 6 for a week now, the phone UI is awesome, i loved the blinkfeed and the color coded themes, custom fonts etc, but as they say I didnt see much improvement in battery life, its the same. But i feel like it introduced a lag when switching between screens and while opening apps. And the camera lacks the Pan360. Rooted phones can enable them though and you can also use Google camera for pan360 but i liked the HTCs pan360 a lot.
Not sweep panorama but 360 panorama (available in M8 Sense 6). Sweep panorama is still there.

Oh, i didn't even know that this kind of camera exists.
A little bit offtopic: bacn in November 2013 i decided to buy M7, because i was tired of flashing roms, tweaking settings via root and i wanted to settle on "manufacturer tested official rom". I just wanted hassle-free experience out of the box.
Now, it seems that it's root time again !

That's if you want the 360 panorama mode. If not then you don't need to.
Just download the official Google Camera app from the play store, it has 4 different kind of Pans in there; Sweep (Vertical & Horizontal), 360 and Fish eye.

still no OTA on my mom's M7 or my M7.. both CID HTC__001.

Last year and this year, we've received updates last. Even though our phones are UK unlocked models. Probably because it has a massive user base. (Bug fixes etc)

I got my update of sense 6 , my cid is htc_j15 and i have htc m7 801n which is Europe lte version , cant upload the pic cuz i dont know how but is is 5.11 something

5.11.401.10 - sense 6
Since i got update 5.11.401.10 with sense 6, apps have crashed 2 times, first time google play store app crashed and later after few days gallery crashed -none apps crashed with sense 5.5(lower firmware)
(downloaded via OTA as soon as it was available, tried to download about 10 times, all the time it stopped at 2Mb, but at around 11th time it did download whole update)
edit: 2nd thing: with new update I can't disable visibility while using bluetooth which is not good

Agree, its not good this, also when openning Apps HTC in app drawer i get Permission Denied, WTF
Last week i updated manually to sense 6 by flashing the ota zip file in recovery. I started to experience problems with mobile data, it worked for some time and then it wouldn't work. The H icon was still apearing in the notification bar but the up and down arrows were not flashing. To make the mobile data work again I had to put the phone in airplane mode and then exit the airplane mode every time i had this problem. Now i have downgraded to Sense 5.5 (Android 4.4.2) and mobile data works normally.
for some time switching off then on mobile data worked, but after a time of doing that it wouldn't work and had to put the phone in airplane mode.
I experienced the same problem when i used the sense 6 port from M8. So I think is Sense 6 related problem if in Sense 5.5 I don't have it and data works normally.
