So I decided to get a little creative with some dBrand skins. Installation came out pretty good. Edges were challenging but manageable if you take your time.

I have the phone in a Spigen liquid crystal case.

Really nice. I always hesitated to get a skin because of the lack of drop protection. Very cool idea putting it inside a transparent case, I think I might go for a similar setup :good:

Appreciated. I do get quite a few "I like your case" comments. I gave up on explaining it's a skin, I just go with thank you now. I'm enjoying it a lot though, the install went well and I like the feel of the case more than the carbon fiber skin.

Post some pics once you decide on your setup.

not as intricate as the OP but closer to the latest screenshot.. Here's my version to honor the 2016 World Series Champs! haha

yes the blue was off kilter in the photo, it's since been fixed

Did you apply the blue (glass) piece over the white vinyl? If so, how's the added thickness feel? I don't believe dbrand has the glass cutout available?

You are correct. Thickness is fine, can't even tell with my clear Ringke Fusion case, which is nearly identical to the Spigen posted in OP

I put it off for a while because I couldn't be bothered with the whole hairdryer thing. Waiting for my orange and white carbon fiber to come though, had to go with the G cutout as well :good:
