About:
Well long time ago I created theme called MEIZU and some time ago I created theme MIUI, both uses special statusbar tweaks, but I have noticed that many other themers started to use these tweaks in their themes :) so I think it's a good idea to open separate topic about it.

What we can do:
enable transparent statusbar
enable tablet buttons
put operator name on statusbar
move clock form right to center on statusbar (idea by Taine0)
enable 2nd image for pulled down statusbar and:
- adjust date
- disable icons

Main window:
patcher1.png

1. Browse statusbar tweaks
patcher2.png

2. Browse system tweaks
patcher3.png

3. Read log
patcher4.png

New ideas are welcome :)

Important:
Remember that some roms needs to install statusbar patch twice, so install patch, reboot (you will lost statusbar), install undo and reboot, then once more install patch, do the last reboot and finally it will work - don't know why that many steps, but tested and works well.
Same for tablet tweaks, but after 1st patch you will get a bootloop, so put off and put it the battery, go to recovery install undo, reboot, install patch again and phone will work like a charm ;)

@ninjasauce you can't get just center clock you will need get also transparent statusbar and and pulleddown statusbar with center date, center clock is like a addon for stock tweaks
@grimjeeper shall I add one more option just for the transparent statusbar??
@BobbyManifesto sorry, but don't really know how to write it over linux, probably big part of the code will look the same, but I have no experience with linux terminal
@hellotheday I made few patches for wildfire using my patcher
@simono_pl to be able to choose 2 you have to choose 1 before ;) did you??

okay so when you choose center clock you have to go through the process for center date transparent status bar? i already have the transparent status bar and center date so if i go through the center clock option and bypass the smali editing of 0x2 to -0x3 (since my smali file is already edited) my clock will be in the center?
i thought you can just patch the clock in center?

@simono_pl I didn't say to press 0 I said press 1 then 2, not only 2
@grimjeeper if your bar is already transparent, choose 0,1,2 then 1 for center clock (and when patcher will open smali folder and text guide file close both, go back to patcher choose 3,4,7 and install patch :)

Ok, you need to grab the systemui.apk and framework-res.apk with a file
manager ON your phone and copy them to a folder and bring them to ur
    laptop:

    wFpWP.png
    Wcyj3.png

As in this example I took the files from matthieup:

    Yx5K0.jpg

Download the patcher from OP and unzip it somewhere

    XICbD.jpg

Place both files from above in:

    TIVot.jpg

Run the patcher and choose 1 [enter]

    U9Ncv.jpg

    choose 1 [enter]

    v8Uhl.jpg

    It's going to load

    XUyUL.jpg

A screen will pop-up and will ask you to edit the statusbarservice.smali (do that with Notepad++)

    Wp7ogh.jpg

Look with CTRL F for the line from the notepad file:

    seSLWh.jpg

Change like this and save the file in Notepad++

    thVow.jpg

Close everything and choose 5 [enter]

    QgZoT.jpg

    Choose 6 [enter]

    udZhG.jpg

Pick the files and flash them through CWM
(maybe with \DATA and \SYSTEM mounted?)

I'm using latest CM7 nightly and it doesn't work... look my previous post.
Oh well.. looks like it's time to go back for Stable build with Android 2.3.4...

Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

    you can try this http://www.mediafire.com/?o9yd46sjinf7509

i think it's compatible with all the 2.3.5 nightly build

Not really sure if anyone would be interested in this, but I did a little updating to the status_bar_cl.xml file.

Made android:textStyle="bold" for com.android.systemui.statusbar.Clock instead of android:textStyle="normal" so that it will match signal text and battery percent text.
Added com.android.systemui.statusbar.CmSignalText so that the signal text is included in the .xml file (not sure if it works properly without it) and added android:textColor="#ffffffff" for it for manual color editing.
Added android:textColor="#ffffffff" for com.android.systemui.statusbar.CmBatteryText so that you can manually edit the color from there.
Added android:textColor="#00ffffff" to both TextView lines for com.android.systemui.statusbar.TickerView so that the notification text displayed in the status bar will be transparent, so that it won't run over the clock when a notification is displayed. This can be changed easily by changing 00 to ff (or whatever alpha value you want).
Added android:textColor="#ffffffff" to com.android.systemui.statusbar.DateView for manual color editing.

Download the status_bar_cl.zip, extract the status_bar_cl.xml, place it in the tools folder for the patcher (after backing up your old one in case you don't like it), then use like you normally would.

Edit: Just found out from someone that there is a line android:background="@drawable/statusbar_background2" at com.android.systemui.statusbar.DateView. If it does not compile as is, then you should be able to edit to statusbar_background and it compile.

@WormDoes I had experience with that roms it isn't native cm7, so you gotta do it manually: http://zdune.mod2xtreme.com/android/tweaks.php
