Cant someone only test this if their router does 5ghz? most don't so its not surprising that the 4 DHDs we have available cant test it yet.
How are the speaker can you tell us that ?
It is better than iphone 4 ?
It is better than de samsung galaxy S
Can you tell us about the speaker, how is it loud and how is the Quality of the speaker, have it a a little bit bass the speaker,.. can tell me someone ?

haha...now thats funny on so many different levels...
My wife loves this phone...she said its a shame that my di*k doesnt feel as as nice or doesnt have the weight of the phone hahaha....she loves the phone right !!!
Ok i must admit when you put this phone in your hand its just right...it feels great...its not THAT heavy...look put the SGS in one hand...that palstic .OMG its going to snap if i squeeze it..and then put the hd in the hand,,,fantastic...I may be spelling stuff wrong now but im getting tired....I will load some pictures tomorrow and some videos in real time uk !!! haha... I promise..

External speaker no where near the iphone... 50% but better than the desire..
Galaxy s kills the phones external speaker.
Bass better than the desire but could be better..
The max volume is not loud enough for me....I wouldn't miss a call but im a little gutted about it...to tell you the truth I would have liked it louder..
I thought most routers were 5ghz now. I have the Linksys WRT610N (aka E3000) cos I have a 100mbps internet connection (Gotta love living in Holland!
)The 2.4ghz band is slower and full of other devices. Especially if you live in an appartment. Some areas are so chocka full that wireless signals are all bouncing into each other. Hence all the new routers run on 5ghz which is nice and clean.
The iPad aparently does 5ghz (though I wouldn't buy one even with a gun to my head) but the iPhone doesnt...

The headphones that come in box are crap...I had a set of nokia 5800 earphones that I just plugged in ...the sound compared to the desire is miles apart....great....nice sound and a lot better..im happy with the sound...external speaker mmm not very good but through headphones pretty good...with a expensive set I reckon the sound would rock !!
Well, if you're after good quality pics from a mega-megabit camera, then you also need some optics, and unfortunately there you can't beat the laws of physics...
Not a real time test but my mate says he charged the battery this morning and all the messing about with it we have done its still around 50%..
Dont take this as the battery is good....its to early to tell...the biggest thing is the SGS has a 1500mah....but maybe the small battery of the HD will match it....time will tell...so far so good....its not always the bigger mah is better...software/hardware has to come into it...time will tell..but so far good

Could you explain what problems did you have with SGS, please? I'm thinking about buying one due to a lot lower price compared to DHD.
The galaxy s now is at a great price I wont lie..
To me the galaxy s still has better images, better video and better audio...really the video quality is amazing... the hd cant beat it.
The reason I sold it was because the random black screens, the terrible lag...even with ryan lag fix it still lagged.....the drop in signal when in a call...3g up and down......the worst RFS filesystem ever...id had enough..
If you want the truth,, desire hd vs galaxy s id still edge the SGS... IF
Samsung hadn't messed this phone up...oh + a terrible UI touchwiz 3 >????? rubbish...not to mention the samsung support..
Combine these and the desire hd is so much better....maybe not on paper but in real life yes...ive had both in my hands and the desire hd is the best of the best..
EDIT....i haven't been told if 2.2 froyo has fixed most of these issues ?....this is how i found the phone to act with 2.1 !

I now happy that another Galaxy S ex-owner thinks exactly like me. In fact after selling my moby I do not have another phone till my HD arrives.
It's a laggy, crappy plastic bit of old Samsung tat........ Never again will I bother with em for mobiles.
