[beta ROM] HTC Hero port for HTC branded Magics

I quickly threw something together and got it "working" on an HTC branded Magic (E.g. Rogers, Nordic, etc..) with engineerings SPL 2005.

Here's the update.zip.

I didn't have time to fully test it but at first sight wifi doesn't seem to work (as usual ).

I didn't include busybox or any other extra's, just the pure rooted HTC Hero Build v1.76.405.1.

Before applying this update I erased system,cache and userdata via fastboot, then booted my RA recovery via fastboot and applied the update.

hey, good work again.

just noticed a few things. everything works except for the CAMERA, and auto-rotation (and of course wifi).
not sure if its because i have stock 2009 SPL.

i can also confirm that camera and auto-rotate isn't working with spl 2009.

yea the time stamp is off on my received txt.

MOTHER.

I would be in love with the hero roms if this issue didnt exist.

I'm putting this ROM on "hold" because lots of other people on the forum are also porting the Hero ROM to the Magic, no point in doing things twice

I'm not sure that other people are working on a Hero ROM that works on HTC branded Magics ...
